UMBRIA´S POLICIES
Rates are subject to a 12% IVA and 10% service charge. Other restrictions may apply. Rates may be subject to change without prior notice. All rates are in US dollars. The daily rate does not include transfers.
There is an additional charge of USD$75 per night for a third person (over 12 years of age) in the same room.
MINIMUM STAY
During the year the duration of the minimum stay varies – please consult our reservation team or your travel agent when you make your reservation for more information. Over the Christmas / New Year period the minimum stay is 4 days. In other important holiday periods a minimum stay of two nights applies.
MEAL PLANS
There is a 50% discount for children over 12 years of age, for children under 12 years of age there is no charge. The meal plans can only be selected when you make your reservation, these cannot be modified later.
DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS
For accommodation reservations 50% of the total payment needs to be made at least two days before your stay. If a reservation is cancelled 7 days before the arrival date 75% of the deposit will be reimbursed. If the cancelation is received 6 days or less before the arrival date the full deposit will be charged.
EARLY CHECKOUT
If guests leave before the anticipated date, the full reservation, as previously confirmed, will be charged. To guarantee your reservation we accept the following forms of payment: cash, bank transfer, check.
CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT
At Hacienda Umbria guests can check in and check out at 12 noon each day. When guests arrive before 12 noon or check out after 12 noon, we offer areas for them to refresh/change.
TRANSPORT
Umbria can provide transfers Quito airport – Umbria – Quito airport, as well as other pick ups and drop offs depending on the guests needs. These transfers need to be reserved 72 hours before the arrival date. Transfers to and from Quito cost one way: USD$35, return: USD$60.

PET POLICY
Pets must be kept on a lead whilst they are inside the installations and they are not permitted to enter the dining and kitchen areas.
SMOKING IS PROHIBITIED WITHIN THE HACIENDA HOUSE
